I am currently very involved in Maplewood government, business, and non-profit circles. I can relate to the large portion of the population of Maplewood that has moved in town in the past ten years. I have great respect for the tradition and history of Maplewood and its citizens. Desiring to serve the people who elect me, I will be active in keeping lines of communication open. I am a creative person with fresh ideas and perspectives, and I have the vision and capacity to continue leading today’s Maplewood into tomorrow.
My 3 top priorities for City Council are:
- To increase the growth of community-mindedness and open communication between residents, businesses, and Maplewood officials, resulting in better solutions to problems and creation of appropriate forward-looking objectives for the future.
- To serve those in need in our community and encourage the further success of new and existing businesses, both large and small.
- To lead Maplewood in continuing to be a model for fiscal responsibility, a haven for unique businesses, and a great place to live.
My wife and I have been homeowners in Maplewood for 6 years, I have been a business owner in Maplewood for 2 years, and I serve on multiple boards and volunteer organizations in Maplewood. Here are a few highlights of my experience:
• Owner and Head Photographer - Studio Altius in Maplewood

• Member - Maplewood Chamber of Commerce
• Member - Maplewood Art Committee
• Chairman of the Board - Lay Renewal Ministries in Maplewood
• Former Member – Maplewood Athletic Association Board of Directors
